We mention in the text that Web1 page development is as much an art as a science, and that notions of style2 play a large part in what constitutes a good page. Review the tips and guidelines that we provided in the text to help you in evaluating your home page.

  1. Evaluate your home page now in light of the design criteria provided in the text. If you feel your home page can be improved, do so now.
  2. Trade home pages with one of your classmates so that you can review one another's work. Comment on both the browser3 and HTML4 versions, and then trade back. Make whatever changes you think are appropriate to your page in light of the comments you receive.
  3. Finally, verify your page by submitting it to a verifier program.
