Lab #3
Introduction to the Robolab environment.
© D. Weinberger and
D. Thiébaut
This challenge is simple.
You will find on the floor of the hallway an outline delineated by
masking tape, and forming a long line with two large pads at
each end:
+-----+ +------+ |S | | S| |T +--------------------------------------+ T| |A O| |R +--------------------------------------+ P| |T | | | +-----+ +------+The problem you have to solve is the following: Make your robot start in the left area, go straight without leaving the path, and stop in the area at the right. Your robot should stay within the masking tape lines at all times! |
This challenge is for you to design a robot that goes as fast as you can make it go. We will use the hallway to measure the speed of your robots. |
This third challenge is for you to design a robot that will climb the steepest incline possible. We will use a five-foot wooden board as the target slope, and see how steep we can make it and have your robot climb it. |
