The Relational Algebra
Reading: Ch. 8 from textbook, pp. 154-167.
For this part I will follow the text - including notation and examples
- very closely. To motivate the abstract concepts in the Relational
Algebra, I will illustrate some of them
with concrete examples
of queries in Access (but the notions do not match exactly).
