Visualization of False Proof

Yellow line is bisector of angle A. Black line is perpendicular to segment c through its midpoint D.
Vertices A, B, C may be moved by clicking and dragging.

Please enable Java for an interactive construction (with Cinderella).

The image demonstrates that our class "proof" was not accurate due to the assumption that the bisector of an angle and the perpendicular through the midpoint of the opposing edge, has an intersection within the triangle. By clicking and dragging on vertices A, B, C, clearly the intersection never occurs within the triangle.
