3D Printing & Geometric Models

	daVinci models: 
		Extrusion not precise, systematically does not use base curve

	Ribbon curves question
	Hypothesis (Stephanie):
		Any ribbon whose edge realizes a smooth plane curve
		which is not a straight segment
		must be orthogonal to the plane of the curve
		at every point of the curve.
	Even two circular arcs connected by a straight segment is not C^2:
		acceleration plummets to zero.
